Bankruptcy Counseling
Pre-Filing Counseling as required by law.  A counselor will meet with you in a confidential setting and help you examine your financial situation.  They will go over all of your options.

Bankruptcy Education
Debtor Education Course as required by law.  This course is designed to help you understand your financial needs and avoid future problems.  This service is offered individually or in a group setting.

Checkwise
A new course offered by CCCS.  A comprehensive guide to managing a checkbook, starting with the basics of choosing a financial institution to work with and selecting a checking account that meets your needs. It covers topics such as learning how to write checks, using online bill pay, reconciling your account, and offers other tips and tools to help you manage your account.  Call for details.

Credit Reports
Anyone can get a Tri-Merge credit report from CCCS.  There is a fee for this service.  You must request the report in person, have photo id, and complete the Credit Report Release Form.  If requesting a joint report (for married couples), both parties must be present to show id and sign the release form.  The Tri-Merge credit report includes reports from Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union credit reporting agencies.  Your credit score will also be included in the report.  Please visit CCCS of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Inc. to request your report today!


Credit Report Counseling
A one-on-one review of your credit report.  Some find reading their credit report confusing.  A CCCS counselor will review your credit report with you and advise you of the results.  We can also provide information on how to correct errors on your credit report, as well as, how to improve your credit score. CCCS offers clients the opportunity to purchase a Tri-Merge Credit Report and credit score for a nominal fee.

Credit When Credit Is Due
Credit When Credit is Due is a nationally recognized course that helps consumers better understand credit and the process of maintaining a good credit rating, as well as giving advise for loans, credit cards, and other financial matters.

CCCS of the Mid-Ohio Valley offers

Housing Counseling
CCCS offers assistance to homeowners, future home buyers, and renters through or many services: Homebuyer Workshop, Reverse Mortgage, Default Counseling & Foreclosure Prevention, Financial Counseling, Debt management Program, Financial Management, and other workshops and seminars.
